'The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious'
In seeking to capture a sense of peace and simplicity, Sara’s work explores and expresses the mystic sense of spirituality found in Nature.
The process itself and the practicing of an open, accepting state of mind towards unexpected insights and visual outcomes, very much forms the core of her practice.

'Rainbow over Pine Gathering' 2018 825x620mm
'Dancing Stone circle at Trevisco' 2017 825x620mm
In the Darkness of Winter the pale Moon descends, from the top of the Cairn into the protective arms of the trees. There, in the woodland glade the Stone circle of Trevisco is doing its motionless dance, its flower core made of white pebbles replecting the moon light, sending of sparks of stars and energy. Windswept bare branched trees bow their heads in applauds.
This painting, oil on board, is inspired by the Midwinter solstice celebration near Trencrom in merged with the wind molded trees of Madron Cairn, seeking to capture the white and blue winter light of this time of hibernation and rest.
'Moon Mans' Third Eye' 2018 606x810mm
'Sunset at Moonrise' 2018 825x610mm
'Moon resting in clumps of Tussocks' 2017 Oil on board 605x 830mm
'Rainbow over Moorland' 2018 300x400mm
And the Rainbow soared high above the White horse, grazing peacefully on the Lady Downs of the Penwith moorlands.
The castle in the clouds was just beyond the horizon, moving ever further away.
This painting, oil on board, is inspired by the view from my window of the wonderful, ever changing moorlands.
