Lammas
The Lammas festival marks the first harvest of the year in the Celtic festival and the stone circle such as the Merry Maidens, near Lamorna was thought to be a community place for celebration.
At this abundant time in nature we will play with taking sensitive stone rubbings to act as a starting point for our intuitive painting where we practice staying open-minded to the image taking shape on the page.
We will use intuitive warm-up exercises and let the enjoyment of the process rather than the end product be our intention.
TO BRING: Oil pastels and your favourite painting equipment, as well as something to sit on.
ABILITY: Easy, car park right next to the field with the Merry Maidens.
